Carboxytherapy helps restore youth and beauty

Carboxytherapy helps restore youth and beauty

Carboxytherapy is a skin rejuvenation technique based on the action of carbon dioxide. The carboxytherapy procedure is completely safe. This technique can improve skin condition, eliminate wrinkles, stretch marks, and cellulite. Carboxytherapy on the face can achieve the following results: increase skin density, lighten dark circles around the eyes, stimulate collagen production, improve skin tone, Principle of the carboxytherapy procedure Subcutaneous capillaries, which supply cells with oxygen, weaken over time. Combined with other harmful effects, this phenomenon reduces the cells' ability to regenerate, leading to loss of elasticity and a decrease in collagen content.

Oxygen is supplied to the body through breathing, but due to environmental influences, this level continually decreases. These processes cause skin aging, acne, redness, irritation, and age spots. During carboxytherapy, carbon dioxide is injected under the skin, which the body perceives as a lack of oxygen, triggering a response in the form of increased blood circulation and blood cell production. This allows more oxygen and nutrients to reach the treated skin area, improving circulation, and initiating cell regeneration. Carbon dioxide skin therapy begins during the first treatment. The skin responds to the CO2 injection by creating a controlled inflammation that stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid. Collagen fibers contract, resulting in a visibly smoother and more elastic skin, while cellulite is reduced and less visible. By stimulating collagen production, wrinkles are reduced, dark circles under the eyes, and stretch marks disappear. Because deeper layers of the skin are involved, collagen production becomes sustained and long-lasting, contributing to the overall facial lift. Cellulite reduction with carboxytherapy is possible thanks to the introduction of carbon dioxide, which helps improve circulation and tissue drainage. How is a carboxytherapy procedure performed? The procedure does not require any special preparation; however, you should refrain from taking medications that reduce blood clotting. A strengthening ointment containing vitamin K can also be used as a preventative measure.

A single procedure can take from 30 minutes to 1 hour (depending on the size of the area being treated). Anesthesia may be used to reduce discomfort associated with pain during the procedure. No anesthesia is used on other areas of the body. Immediately after the procedure, some redness persists, but this disappears after about an hour. The patient can return to their daily activities immediately after the procedure. The frequency and number of treatments depend on the area where the CO2 gas is administered. For effective treatment and long-lasting results, a series of 5 to 15 treatments is recommended.
