Platelet rich plasma is an autologous concentrate containing platelets and growth factors suspended in concentrated plasma.

Platelet rich plasma accelerates skin healing and regeneration, participates in the synthesis of new collagen and elastin, by stimulating fibroblasts, the skin becomes firmed, regenerated and more moisturized. Among the many indications for the use of plasma in anti-aging treatments is also applicable in various fields of medicine, among others in orthopedics, sports medicine, in surgery, in dentistry, ophthalmology, and aesthetic gynecology. Needle mesotherapy with bogagmatic plasma has a multidirectional action, it is a direct biological stimulator of revitalization and repair processes in the skin.

Anti-aging therapy is used to rebuild tissues by using concentrated platelet rich plasma. In addition, the growth factors contained in PRP serve as a source of health, youth and beauty, because thanks to its beneficial property they cause deep skin hydration, and also contribute to the improvement of macromolecular protein synthesis, which are responsible for skin elasticity.

Mesotherapy with plasma causes a comprehensive therapeutic effect, anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory and repairing effect. Even the injection of the skin itself causes better absorption of nutrients, and the included growth factors in the rich-platelet plasma stimulate repair and regeneration processes. Due to the high content of growth factors and stem cells, the action of plasma causes revitalization and regeneration of the skin.

What is platelet rich plasma?

Platelet Rich Plasma is an autologous concentrate derived from the patient's own blood, containing platelets suspended in concentrated plasma. Plasma is part of liquid blood and consists of 90% water, proteins constitute 6-8%, the remaining 3% are organic and inorganic compounds, among others vitamins, lipids, ions, urea, sugars and mineral salts, as well as elements such as: calcium, potassium, sodium ions, chloride, magnesium, phosphates. The plasma contains over 300 types of simple and complex proteins.

The most important component of platelet-rich plasma is its growth factors. It is widely believed that the therapeutic effect of using platelet-rich plasma is based on the action of platelets and growth factors contained in it. In dermatology and aesthetic medicine, plasma platelet rich plasma PRP concentrate is the most commonly used anti-aging treatment composed of a leukocyte-platelet fraction containing a large number of platelets and a small number of collected leukocytes.

Properties of platelet-rich plasma

The essential properties of platelet-rich plasma are the proliferation of various types of repair cells due to the growth factors involved. Growth factors are involved in the regulation of collagen synthesis, they participate in the differentiation and proliferation of immune cells and also participate in the regulation of angiogenesis.

The mechanism of action of the rhesus plasma

Biostimulation, revitalization and biological regeneration of the skin occurs as a result of knitting the activation of various types of stem mesenchymal cells by growth factors contained in the platelet-rich plasma. Growth factors that form part of the platelet-rich plasma stimulate cell proliferation, migration and differentiation. After activation, platelets release numerous growth factors, such as EGF, IGF, PDGF, TGF, VEGF, and adhesion proteins.

What therapeutic effects can be obtained with the use of platelet-rich plasma?

  •  treatment with plasma accelerates skin regeneration,
  •  improvement of elasticity, tension and skin density,
  •  makes the skin firmer,
  •  skin revitalization and hydration,
  •  improves skin tone and structure,
  •  smoothes superficial mimic wrinkles,
  •  causes the skin volume to be restored,
  •  removes dark circles under the eyes,

Can treatment with platelet rich plasma be combined with other treatments?

Combined PRP therapy with other treatments, supports and strengthens the therapeutic effects after dermatological treatments combined with laser, hyaluronic acid or strong peels.

How is the platelet rich plasma obtained for the anti-aging treatment?

Platelet-rich plasma is obtained by centrifuging at appropriate velocity, venous blood from the patient. The centrifuging process causes delamination of individual blood elements. Through the use of appropriate parameters, a solution is obtained that consists of three layers: the lower layer morphotic elements, the middle layer is the thinnest and most important layer containing platelets and leukocytes, the upper layer is the poorly distributed plasma. After preparing the concentrate, the optimal concentration of platelets in PRP increases 3-7 times.

Is treatment with platelet rich plasma safe?

Platelet rich plasma therapy (PRP) is one of the safest, minimally invasive skin conditioning treatments. Plasma rich in platelets and growth factors is an autologous tissue, and therefore exhibits a high level of safety, which reduces the risk of side effects in the form of allergic and immunological reactions. The PRP preparation is completely biocompatible, so it can be used intradermally without the risk of allergies and side effects. PRP treatment is an alternative method of therapy for patients who can not apply other anti-aging treatments, for example hyaluronic acid, laser or strong peels.

Effectiveness of fugitives with platelet rich plasma?

An important condition for the effectiveness of plasma mesotherapy is compliance with the protocol of the procedure. After the first two days since the first treatment, the process of intensive tissue remodeling begins. The first positive effects can be observed even after one treatment, after 5-7 days of surgery. The skin becomes smoother, the color and texture improve, wrinkles become less visible, skin firmness is restored, microcirculation improves.

What are the possible side effects?

Platelet rich plasma is an autologous, non-toxic and non-immunoreactive product, so it is free of any serious side effects. There is a possibility of local reactions at the injection site, in the form of tenderness, redness or in very rare cases secondary infection, although they can be avoided with appropriate antiseptic and precautionary measures.

For the treatment to be effective it is recommended to perform a series of 4-6 treatments at intervals of 7-10 days, and then once a quarter to maintain the effect. Such treatment allows to obtain very beneficial therapeutic effects that eliminate the signs of aging.

What is the time of convalescence after the procedure?

How to prepare for the treatment with boag plasma for the first time?

Before the planned treatment, the patient should consult with his doctor to determine whether there are any contraindications or diseases that preclude the possibility of mesotherapy with platelet-rich plasma. The patient should perform blood counts for platelet counts and general blood parameters. If the blood results meet the norms and there are no contraindications, the patient is qualified for the procedure. After a detailed interview and analysis of the results and exclusion of contraindications also from a psychological angle, the patient fills in the form and gives written informed consent to carry out the procedure using autologous tissues.

How does the procedure with platelet rich plasma look like?

The mesotherapy treatment with boagatoplatin plasma takes place like classical mesotherapy. After taking blood, during the preparation of the autologous mesotherapy gel, it takes about 15 minutes, prepare the patient for the procedure. This is the right time for a thorough makeup remover and for the position of the anesthetic cream. Anesthesia provides the patient with comfort during the procedure, it is enough to apply a thin layer of anesthetic cream, thanks to which the patient will not feel discomfort associated with injections and the pain will be minimized.
